Following other competitors BSNL also introduced roam free plans for its subscribers.The RS 5 plan which gives the customer to enjoy unlimited free incoming calls and the RS 69 plan gives the user the power to enjoy unlimited free incoming calls for a period of 30 days,outgoing local and national calls will be charged at 1.5 paise per second.
Also BSNL also introduced two new plans Roaming Tariff Plans ( RTP ) for its postpaid customers,which are at Rs 145 and Rs 625 which come with services such as free calls and SMS.
BSNL has announced an RTP for Rs 405 and free roaming RTP for Rs 705,for its prepaid users.
A) Incoming Voice call charges while roaming has been reduced from Re.1.00/Min to Rs.0.75/Min for the following plans:-
i) Saral Anant
ii) Per Second
iii) Per Minute
iv) General
v) Pyari Jodi
vi) Student Special
vii) Jai Jawan
viii) Roam Free( For roam free plan, incoming voice call charges while roaming in BSNL network is 0 & Rs.0.75/Min while roaming in MTNL network).
B) Local SMS charges while roaming has been reduced from Rs.1.5 to Re.1 per SMS for the following plans.
i) Saral Anant
ii) Per Second
iii) Per Minute
iv) General
