Looks like tariff for calling to landlines numbers from your airtel mobile will burn out your pockets. Wondering what made me to say like this? Because today (24th Sept 2013) i received a message from airtel saying like this”Namaste! Effective 24th Sept 2013,Local Landline tariff for your airtel mobile is being revised. You will get 2.5ps/sec.” Thats around rs 1.5 per minute. I think a tariff like this appeared in telecom sector around nine years back!
So dont forget to check the call cost when you hangup a landline call,to find if these rates are also applicable to you or not.
